I do enjoy the Olympics ever 4 years, it is a refreshing change of pace. The World Cup is a different story. Each time it occurs I can't help but loathe it. I realize that it is technically the biggest sport in the world but it doesn't do anything for me. I like playing soccer alot, fun stuff, but watching it is a completely different story. I think this all harkens back to when I was a kid and went to a World Cup game at Foxboro Stadium between South Korea and Bolivia. 90 minutes, no goal, shootout, no goal, me bored as hell.
